Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), the network‑sharing joint venture (JV) between EE and Three UK, looks to have carried out a major reshuffle of its senior management team.

According to the company’s website, former EE Transformation Director Pat Coxen is now Managing Director at MBNL, replacing Graham Payne, who has led the JV since its early-2008 inception. At EE, Coxen was responsible for the launch of the EE brand and held a number of senior leadership positions in the customer service, operations, marketing and programme management departments at both Orange UK and T‑Mobile UK.

In further changes, another EE executive, Keith Groombridge, has joined MBNL as Network Plan and Build Director, while Three UK Director of Accounting and Financial Control Gervase King has taken over from Brian More O’Ferrall as MBNL’s Finance Director.

The company has also confirmed the appointment of Mike Corrigall as IT Director, previously noted by Deutsche Telekomwatch (issue #25). Corrigall was formerly a Director at Deutsche Telekom UK, the Group’s UK-based shared services arm, suggesting tie‑in with the recent closure of the unit’s technology functions (Deutsche Telekomwatch, #22).

MBNL and its parents are yet to get back to Deutsche Telekomwatch with comment on the changes.
